I had an ARC for this book, but this is my voluntary and honest opinion。 Therapist Megan Eldridge leaves the corporate world and moves to Hope Lake to work at a foster kid’s camp。 Krista is a sullen teen counselor at the camp and Megan befriends her。 Krista’s Uncle Tyler Durango has just returned home from active duty and is rehabilitating his family’s ranch。 He meets Megan when her car has a flat tire。 This is a great heartwarming story with a bit of intrigue and dealing with problems。 A must r I had an ARC for this book, but this is my voluntary and honest opinion。 Therapist Megan Eldridge leaves the corporate world and moves to Hope Lake to work at a foster kid’s camp。 Krista is a sullen teen counselor at the camp and Megan befriends her。 Krista’s Uncle Tyler Durango has just returned home from active duty and is rehabilitating his family’s ranch。 He meets Megan when her car has a flat tire。 This is a great heartwarming story with a bit of intrigue and dealing with problems。 A must read。 。。。more

I really enjoyed this story of restoration。 As Krista learns to trust again and Tyler faces the demons from his time in the military and learns to open his heart to hope again, Megan is the one constant they both rely on。 There are tears, laughter, and suspense as they make their way together。 I look forward to the next story from Hope Lake。

Great story! This is my voluntary review of a copy I received from the author。 I loved that Tyler and his niece both have to learn to hope and trust, and both share the skill of calming animals。 I loved the romance。 The friends keep pushing them together, while they push apart while hoping for more at the same time。I loved Megan's feisty character, the banter between her and Tyler, and the love she has for Krista。 I love the strong friendship between the adults and their willingness to just jump Great story! This is my voluntary review of a copy I received from the author。 I loved that Tyler and his niece both have to learn to hope and trust, and both share the skill of calming animals。 I loved the romance。 The friends keep pushing them together, while they push apart while hoping for more at the same time。I loved Megan's feisty character, the banter between her and Tyler, and the love she has for Krista。 I love the strong friendship between the adults and their willingness to just jump in and help。 。。。more

This new series reeled me in with the prequel and didn’t disappoint with book one。 I love that this community features a camp for kids and builds upon the relationships found in the small town where it is located。 The characters are complex, the romance sweet, and the storylines interesting。 I also really appreciate the tidbits from the ongoing lives of characters that were featured in their own book (prequel) sprinkled into this book - the author does this in a way that doesn’t take away from t This new series reeled me in with the prequel and didn’t disappoint with book one。 I love that this community features a camp for kids and builds upon the relationships found in the small town where it is located。 The characters are complex, the romance sweet, and the storylines interesting。 I also really appreciate the tidbits from the ongoing lives of characters that were featured in their own book (prequel) sprinkled into this book - the author does this in a way that doesn’t take away from the main characters but brings you into a cast of friends and their ongoing relationships characteristic of small town living。 I highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 。。。more

I never thought about the cost of hope。 Tyler has calculated that cost down to the last tear。 Fear and doubt hold him in place, keeping the very thing he wants most just out of reach。 Along comes Megan and her attempts to help。 Who needs that? But as danger circles her, Tyler decides to take a chance on Megan, Krista and creating the family he desperately wants。 This is clean romantic suspense that thoroughly entertains。

This is a sweet story of healing and romance。 Megan is a psychiatrist looking to make a difference。 Tyler is a wounded soldier just trying to make it through the day。 Add in Tyler’s parentless teenage niece Krista and Megan’s stalker an it makes for an exciting book。 I enjoyed this book very much。
